Up sh*t creek, without a paddle
I was in a bar yesterday at lunch watching the ALDS and the ESPN HD channel was a good 3-4 seconds ahead of regular ESPN. So I'd look up, watch the HD signal behind my buddy and say to him, watch this, the guy's going to strike out. And boom....he'd strike out on the non-HD t.v. It was awesome for about 3 minutes when he thought I was actually predicting what would happen.

Then he got wise....damn him. I had to kill his wife last night. That's the only recourse I had.

is it 4:20 yet?
It is around here!

To derail, I saw someone actually post on craigslist in the events area something to the effect of "...looking for new 4:20 friends to hang around with this w/e." I immediately wondered if the poster's previous 4:20 friends were either missing a sack or in possession of the poster's.

Quite possibly, but given the amateurish blatancy of the post, the poor spelling, the bad grammar, the recent dry spell, the fact that I've seen several similar posts elsewhere, etc., I concluded it was likely legit...then again, I DID hear about a couple big busts here in MD over the last couple months.

You gets the goods 'cause of all the beautiful sunshine CA sold it's soul for. Interest includes all the mudslides, earthquakes, wildfires, droughts, high taxes, etc.

Here you have to wait until Halloween, when the homegrown goods are usually plentiful again. Bear in mind I'm not talking dry spell as in nothing is available; I just don't bother with anything commercial that has seeds or is compressed. I'd rather make due infrequently but on the higher quality exhibited in some of the pictures people have posted here previously. :happydance:
