I just installed my Evil Guide. Ridden it twice, once DH, and once DJ, and it RULES! I only had one problem with it, I got some chain suck on one of my DH runs, but I think I got that worked out. It will be very broken in this weekend at my first race....... Pictures to come after the race :)

Well, it depends on where it happens. If you get chain suck or any type of issue up top, its a spacing issue. If you get some at the bottom, you can rotate the guide less, or it might be a chain/ chainring wear incompatibilty issue. If you guys ever have any questions or otherwise, snap a couple pics of your setup and drop the support@e13components.com tech support an e-mail. Even if you just want us to give it the ol' once over, thats totally cool. We're all about helping you guys out!

And this is exactly the reason that when the guys at my shop tried to talk me into getting a different kind of chainguide, I still opted for Evil!

I'll send a few pictures your way, I have some screwy things in my setup.

You probably just have a slight spacing issue, you wouldn't believe how many people came into the pits (at Sea Otter) with improperly adjusted guides, alot of which were installed by shops. Its seems not everyone chooses to use the VERY informative instructions with pictures and just likes to stick washers where they don't belong or leave them out at will.

Also every bike and setup is a little different, and some have to be tuned. It can't hurt to talk to the people who sell and install these every single day, they have some very valuable experience with all sorts of common problems.

when Ben@Unreal first installed my guide on my Imperial, he experienced chainsuck on the bottom. chewed up the paint a little, but he rode it till it was dialed in. ended up being either an out-of-spec/bent ring or spider...can't remember. he's an a-ok guy.

just 2am? i screw with my bikes till 3am when i have 9am classes.
