on the drive into work today, i am on a short side road, and when i crest the hill the street is filled w/ wild turkeys. the toms were all puffed out, tails in full fans, and the hens were looking like targets. counted 15 of them, and they wouldn't get out of my way too readily either. glad i was in the car.

Nah...I use the word 'gaggle' quite frequently when I talk about getting a group of girls together...as in...let's get the gaggle together for some beers! But really...does anyone know what a bunch of turkeys would be called? Not a 'pride' of turkeys...nor a 'pod' of turkeys', nor a 'herd' of turkeys, nor a 'pack' of turkeys...what in tarnation would a group of turkeys be???

its just when i was like 3, my dad bought a live turkey about my size, and left it in the yard for a few days...

so and i went to check it out, but the mofo scared the living crap out of me and the freaking nanny laughed in my face and closed the door to the house...

since then am horrified by anything with feathers... and old-creepy nannys with freckles..
