Ha, it's so cute when people use "arch-rival" to describe their massive inferiority complex.

in the looks department...i'd give the edge to palin.

couric hasn't aged well....she looked better in her days smoking rock with jim vance and steve doocy behind wrc-tv.

Doesn't "rival" imply some kind of back-and-forth?

I mean, if I get into a ring with Mike Tyson, whereupon he breaks six bones in my face with one shot and I lapse into a coma, I'm not sure I'd be justified in calling it a rivalry.

It would be a better analogy if you broke six bones in your face trying to climb over the ropes.

after seeing jon stewart's breathless analysis, i'm inclined to think palin is like hewlett packard: successful, but no one outside of the HP bubble can articulate why. In fact, the bloom has long fallen off the rose, but they still pursue their printing business.

some brands can be successfully renewed

others just hang around & annoy: like hotmail, occupy, charles shaw, & myspace
