That guy has had nothing but bad luck latelytough luck for Horner this year. that pile up was nasty. hate to be that guy first into those concrete barriers with people piling up on him! looked like about 1/3rd of the peloton was involved.
I knowThe crummy part is that Horner is 37....that may have been his last/only chance to captain the team for a grand Tour.
I was pulling for Farrar last night as they came into town...André Greipel, and Columbia in general, have been killing it! I would still like to see Farrar win a stage. This Saturday the race should heat up with some nasty climbs
Close today, he just can't seem to seal the deal. Reminds me of Zabel at the end of his career....always the brides maidI was pulling for Farrar last night as they came into town...
No, he still got dropped. I watched Samuel Sánchez ride him off his wheel.
Good blog....I agree 100%. The guy has been a disappointment and he comes off as an a**hole too. In other news Valverde is going to win the Vuelta. I was disappointed with Basso...I was really hoping he would hold his podium position. Robert got the biggest shaft in this race. I wonder if he would have been able to hold on if not for the crash?
