Well, you can't completely avoid the loose stuff, because it eventually makes its way to the bottom of the notch and spreads out all over the trail... right below a pretty big water-bar-drop. Once you get to the bottom of the embedded rock, you really need to let off the brakes and use the water bar to clear as much of the loose shit as you can.

It's fun.
