ok, so now this liquid bomb threat appears to be spawned from pakistan, so what the hell are we doing in iraq? let's bomb the pakis. oh wait, they were british-born-n-bred people of pakistani origin?

ok, let's bomb england.

you can see how well our current anti-terror policy is thought out.

just wait until the 1st 'sleeper cell' of american born-n-bred terrorists make themselves known...you think our rights are infringed now?

If he said it out of trembling fear, he might have a point. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few 'mericans out there that would consider it while saying something like, "If it wurnt fer us, youse wud be speakin' German right now."

Too true...I work with a few of those types...I steer clear of them while they're doing their morning "newz" searches...I can still hear 'em though...

"Heh...hey Bob, you see this one about those freakin' commie frenchies??"

"Yeah...stupid cheese-eating surrender monkey's....."

It's a great atmosphere from about 8am - 11am....good times...

yes. i was writing from the perspective of W and his cronies.
Yeah, I kinda had that feeling, but I wasn't sure whether that part was intentional or not.

Of course you might consider being more careful. I mean since they are all terrorists, they might come after you next.:oink:

I wonder how long it will take the Bush administration to realize that terror plots are effectively uncovered and stopped using diligent work by police and intelligence agencies, not by invading countries?

You're forgetting one important part though...

How are we supposed to be able to uncover the plots if we don't create some terrorists by invading their country and blowing up their families?

Better to be at war with terrorists on all fronts than to ignore them and then be outraged when they blow people up.

That stratagy got us to where we are today.

N8, is it al qaeda vs western thinking, or US gov't meddling?

do you think this war on terror is winnable in this manner?

suicide bombers are pretty tough to defend against, don't you think? esp when they may turn out to be US citizens.

And where are we today? We're getting our ass handed to us in Afghanistan, haven't been able to do a damn thing about that pesky insurgency we created in Iraq, we're broke and our president has managed to screw up our economy bad enough that when I exchanged money in Canada last week, I got $103 CDN for $100 US, and to add some icing on the cake, our little puppet Israel bombing the living crap out of Lebanon's civilian population for a month hasn't accomplished ANYTHING other than killing a bunch of children. I'm sure George has people like you convinced this is all a resounding success though.

You're right.....dubya fvcked us on that one in 2001. Would've been nice to see some of the available information being put to use instead of playing golf and cuttin brush.

Dude, the only intelligent N8 is an ignored N8. Do it. You won't regret it.

I can't be the only one who finds N8 simply hilarious. Watching his conservative rhetoric flail around on the floor is almost as entertaining as watching our mentally disabled president field questions at a press conference. If it weren't reality, it would be the best comedy in ages.

What's going to be entertaining is when Hillary is president and the world hates the US even more because of it....
I have never seen so many people here in Sweden, who had an oppinion of who they wanted to see as your president in the last election. Almost everybody wanted Al Gore because they thought dubya was a stupid lying hypocite.
Problem with people here though, was that they thought that with a democratic president the stupid and agressive US foreign policy would change to peaceful and just one.

We have something in common N8....we both wanted dubya to sit for four more years :oink:
...but for different reasons. I wanted people to continue seeing the US for what they've just realized that it was, and not for what they've allways claimed to be standing for; freedom, democracy, justice, and peace.

I bet that in the next presidential election the world is going to be just as blue eyed again and hope for a democratic president. :eviltongu

I for one feel MUCH safer that we have 135,000 troops in Iraq. It is only through their hardwork that we've been able to catch these UK terrorists. If we were not in Iraq, we would never have caught these British citizens who were financed by Pakistanis. See, the WoT is working! QED!!

I go back and forth between having N8 on ignore and laughing at his posts. mostly I find him harmless and hilarious. But sometimes he says things that are flat out obscene, and horrible. Rather than getting pissed and flaming him and getting into an argument with the rest of this short bus of a forum, I stick him on ignore. He'll fester there for a few weeks and I'll bring him out to amuse me a bit more.

My ignore list is fluid and always changing. Some people are too funny to keep there.

I told him to buy a bomber Iroc since he was president and could do whatever he wanted.

I love those t-tops.
