I'm curious to see what they are doing with the Bullit?
I would say the Bullit is probably best compared to the new Nomad. Yeah ones VPP and ones single pivot, but geometry and travel-wise the Nomad and Bullit are alike.
My medium Bullits geometry:
tt = 22.8" st = 17" st< = 69-70.3 ht< = 68-69.3 wheelbase=42.3" bb height = 14.1-14.8" shock travel 170mm
A medium Nomad geometry:
tt = 22.8" st = 17" st< = 71 ht< = 68 wheelbase = 43.6" bb height = 13.7" shock travel 165mm

I imagine the Nomad is a bit more stable given the lower bb height and longer wheelbase, and i'm sure you can build it up to be a worthy freeride rig. Granted i don't like the shorter bb height and shorter wheelbase. But i do like the benefits of VPP. So even if the Bullit were to disappear they would have a nice rig to take its place...

I need to test a Nomad to see if its worthy to be in my stable, but on paper i'm not to happy about the lower bb and longer wheelbase. NOT good for riding skinnies and the many rocks and logs that spot northeast singletrack.
