That IS good news. However, I will not be completely satisfied until they agree to no reunion tours, radio stations stop playing their music completely, and their albums disappear from shelves...

There are a lot of bands that make bad music out there. I am sure there are some 's in bad bands, you just aren't forced into hearing them. You have to blame the record execs and radio stations for playing the bad music.
"Creed's last studio album, "Weathered," debuted in December 2001 at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and has more than 6.2 million copies in the United States"
It's things like this that make me lose faith in the people of the US
I won't be happy till I don't hear any more NIRVANA (the guy is dead but keeps releasing new songs) and Stoned Temple Pilots.
Two bands I could do without. There's nothing worth listenening to these days. What ever happend to the late 80's and early 90's metal scene. We need that back. Anthrax, Slayer (they still kick) and whatnot. New music sucks, it sucks so bad that I'm starting to listen to eminem and 50 cent
I'm serious, I never would have listened to Rap 10 years ago, however there's nothing left. I listen to egyptian and indian music, old time. Anything but the sh*t that the radio stations around here play

Ah, yes -- who's to blame? Creed, or the people who tell Creed that they're good and should put out albums?
Joe Pozer -- Nickelback? I would buy all the remaining Creed albums in my town if it would make Nickelback go away. "I like my belt around your throat..." Talk about a band that amounts to absolute zero.
Overkill? Used to be one of my favs, then they started releasing crap around the WFO album. Didn't want to hear them after that.
the Borders excuse is weak. I bet you got an internet connection....
do what you want, but listening to only your old tapes is a sure sign of being old. (your starting to sound like your parents with that "no good new music" line)
I recently picked up the new Exodus and really like it. give it a try.
and if you have broad band check out www.knac.com
they are playing the new Exodus right now. but don't listen on saturday it's all 80's glam stuff. sunday is death/black metal day.
