So today i parted out with two frames, a coaster wheel, judy tt fork, and a old cane creek headset via craigslist. I made $95. Not bad considering i paid ~$50 total on all of it from a used bike shop.
All of this done for one reason---new bike time. i have a specialized fsr xc comp and love it, and i have a pake fixie and love it. Now its time to get something in between.
I want to build a hard tail ss with semi-slicks on it.
Its purpose: good commuter for class and around town, and something to ride to have fun around the city and the occasional trail. There is a non-profit used bike shop near by and i spotted a aluminum gary fisher frame there, not sure what it was tho but I am think of snagging that.
Throw me some ideas for a build. Kind of in a hurry to build it but money slows that down alittle.
