Taking the day off, was sitting on the couch last night and all of a sudden a headache ramped up and hasn't gone away since. Woke up at 5am sweating and felt like releasing the evil from within. Fts.

Big old piles of china white powder in my yard, though not the amounts posted by the Denver folks. Somehow, this storm also delivered more snow to my yard than any ski area, again. This winter blows.

Just spent 1.5 hours shovelling snow. 88 y/o guy up the street was out shoveling too, so a couple of us had to stop, run up and get his driveway and sidewalks before he could do anymore. Tenacious old guy kept trying to shovel while we were doing it.

And @Toshi loves in Kansas. I'm only about 10 miles front the Hogback in a straight line and in proper hills. His shit was an airport.

You're adorable.

Also, good on ya for helping that old codger.
Well, compared to the fucking Rockies not so much. But we're a solid couple hundred feet above Denver. I think we're actually a bit higher than Golden too...

Just picked up an old X-Vert for the retro bike build from a woman in @Sandwich hood. Access to her house was a pretty rough and muddy dirt road, so I'm glad I had the brohohodozer today.

The higher you go, the higher you get, or something like that.
just got done with an epic chat battle in Spanish with a Colombian airline over a change ticket fee.
they were hard balling me until I said that I paid with Amex, and would contest the charge, then all of the sudden they ‘found a way’ to change my ticket with no fee.
Maybe they just took pity over my Spanish.
But I won.

nice. what bike?
'98 Spec Ground Control. it's been sitting in my buddies basement for 20 years and look like complete shit when he gave it to me. It was his brother-in-law's who only put a handful of miles on it before sitting all that time. Cleaned up really nicely so far.

The fork was the last/only thing I really needed to get for it. I have a new low-end FSA headset being delivered today to lower the stack height and go from unsealed to sealed bearings. Other than that, it only needed new pads (v-brakes), grips and cables/housing, which have all been acquired.

This thing is going to ride like complete shit in the most awesomest of ways.

It has been fun using a bunch of my previously-useless Park tools. Crank puller for square taper, 1-1/8" crown race setter, BB tool, etc.
