I was riding down in Mammoth last week and got my bike blown out from under me over a jump on a new trail called chainsmoke. If you've been to mammoth you understand the wind situation. I'm an idiot for even continuing to hit them after mid day. Anyway I came down on my ankle from probably about head high and look at all the neat colors it's turning. Oooh purty. Two broken foot bones (with tendons attached to the free floating pieces) and a mean sprain are the result.

Notice the wierd crap that seems to be chasing up the blood vessels in the shot from the top.

If you go to mammoth, please roll the first few jumps on chainsmoke before you jump them. They are built poorly with the last jump being about 20% the size of the previous 3, all of which you will accelerate from if you hit the landings properly. I got knocked because of the wind but the last jump is dangerous regardless.

What like.........lately or like....ever?

Yeah that's how I know it's broken, I seen them bone pictures, mine even. You and I should trade color swatches of bruise hues. You'd win but it would give us something to do at least.
da nm right I'd win! I'm a winner! I'm awesome... wait a minute, winning this game sucks. I'm gonna go cry.

I think you guys should be keeping track of these colors carefully and submit them to Home Depot as a new color line.

ps: I looked around last night for a discussion where you mentioned what kind of ankle support you use these days. What was it? I've got a 661 coming in the mail.

Sweet. I doubt I can do much this week. Everytime I drop my foot below about waist level it turns into a water balloon and makes neat colors. I'll let you know by the end of the week. Go paddle towards the point by Crystal Bay from King's Beach. There are some cool granite boulders in the water you can mess around in. Sirens hang out there midday working on their melanoma.

I use a Mc David Lace up brace. Its black and comes up really high on your ankle. It works well.
