Found a hitchhiker from a ride three weeks ago...

I had a swollen lump on my hand where I hit a sugaro about three weeks ago and the needle and a bunch of puss popped out when I lanced it with my hunting knife. It's about an inch long.

Yes, a very pale yellowish white and the area around the "exit wound" is red and slightly inflamed.

good guess, but it happened at Hawes, I think it was on "Twisted sister". SoMo tends to break bikes and rip your skin off like a cheese grater.

THank goodness there aren't any big cactus up in WA state....although there are some in eastern WA. Small though.

The paper towel is tilted away from the camera. Next time I'll get the forensic photographer at work to do a full write up.:biggrin: It felt like it was six inches when it was in my hand.

The crash was pretty impressive. I was trying to avoid a cactus on one side, and a several foot drop on the other. So I bounced off two rocks, hit the cactus and then went sideways over the drop I was trying to avoid.
