Yeah I went to the nationals today, I saw the top competators in the sport of...scooter racing!! I couldn't stop laughing. I had to watch my mouth so I didn't say anything that would piss anyone off like, "this is the funniest f-n thing I have ever seen"

I have no idea, they would wrap out on the straightaways, but I would estimate their max speed around 45 maybe 55. It was a pretty turny course so they were droping their knees a lot.

Sure it looks strange.....but racing is racing and if everyone is close as far as equipment goes it doesn't matter what you are on!

Are you saying that if you heard there was a Scooter National about 10 minutes from your house you wouldn't go to see if they were for real?!

Have you ever been to a tractor pull? Yeah, I went to an ag school and there was an annual tractor pull held on campus. Anyway, you've got these big arse tractors that basically get a run or two (maybe more if you're fast), maybe a few minutes, to pull this weight. That's it. These people drive across the entire freakin country, towing their massive tractors for that, a run or two. Huh???

I would say anything is race prepped.. Some looked like old scooters that just had restricters taken off others looked like some serious work went into them. It would be economical, that is for sure.

They raced on a cart track so it was just about perfect for them.
