almost done getting my workshop ready after the basement reno. I have less space now, and I'm tripping over the tripod base of my feedback sports stand. thought I'd replace it with the Park stand with the flat base... looked it up online. nope! not gonna pay that amount of money for a stand... ($800 for the base plate and $1160 for the stand?! no thanks) I wonder if there's a way to find a big steel plate and somehow attach my current stand to it...

I'm now very jealous of my buddy who found one on kijiji (or maybe fessebook market place) for a quarter of the price...
Could you mount just the head to the wall or ceiling?

Or maybe the Pros Closet has an extra 5 or 6 up for auction now :busted:

Does it need to be moved around?

note to self. even though your new running shoes arrived do not think that your 68 year old legs are capable of running after 10 hours on the ambulance squat lifting big folk that require 2 big guys to lift the end of the gurney to load and unload them to and from the ambulance. getting old sucks

Where do you live, I may know "a guy" in your area
Ottawa, Canada. But honestly, we are planning on switching the panel, and I have full confidence in the electricians we've seen. The last two were both "preferred" electricians with the Ontario Electrical Safety Authority, meaning they can self-certify, only 1 in 7 projects they do gets inspected. I've also had a City inspector come in for the reno. There's no safety concern at the moment, it's just a jumbled mess. I could try and remove the coax cables, and the old alarm cables myself, that would clean a lot of it up... One project at a time!

oof, the only peeps I know in the land of hams and syrup are loggers and fishing guides, I think I remember you were from canukistan.

looks at using smart breakers wheen you upgrade, cheaper than a smart panel but lots of control and monitoring.
