i'll take the fugazi '90s for 500, alex. except that mine was slightly more new york hardcore crossing over into metal oriented. 90s were also interesting in that i moved from skating to skiing (briefly) to mtb over the course of the decade. also finished high school, finished college, finished grad school part 1, and got married. sheesh.

I can't imagine this going well for Knolly. He basically made up a bullshit patent to get around the Specialized Horst Link, so maybe this is not really beneath him...

noel seems like a good guy, but i cannot for the life of me grasp the appeal of the bikes. the designs are ugly AF; adding extra linkage & a funky seat tube angle for no tangible benefit (apart from originally skirting the horst patent, which is now moot). i just can't comprehend the fanboism.

I was only showing horst-link bike variations secondarily, the lawsuit against intense seems to be only relative to their seatpost angle/location, which all of these bikes would appear to violate, including my own pivot and I'm sure hundreds more. Knolly is claiming using their seatpost angle was to "get it out of the way" of the suspension and allow for full insertion of a seatpost...but great, it's simply a common way that many bikes have and continue to be built, I have a hard time believing this is "novel". And then Knolly pulls the "we're just a small Canadian company" and "big bad Intense in California". I don't ever see Intense bikes anymore and I'm pretty sure they aren't some massive company.

there's enough of them out there, the problem, IMO, is that now with all these extra people that are riding, the amount of trails/trail mileage isn't increasing at the same pace.
