What is that? I have never seen or heard of it? I did put leather on my Hubs, that worked.people still falling for this shit? embarrassing.

Curb smashing is hard work and necessary for curb hucks.“With less fatigue?”
WTF
Yeah, that is the exact one I was talking about.*flashback* those leather straps that kept the hub shiny? at least they had a tangible benefit
Altered vibrational patterns ya say"This interaction leads to altered vibrational patterns."
From thecompanymarketers' website: "Snipptec has developed several processes thatpermanentlyimaginary changecarriermaterials perception using differentelectromagneticimaginary treatments with differentwavelengthspieces of material. This carrier material is cast in so-called "converters" andinteracts withsticks on the test vehicle when it is glued on. "Reminder - The adhesive is saliva activated, so you must lick it before application for optimal results."Perhaps the backing of the sticker is coated in LSD?
the white bike thing was overused in the 2000s as was saxophone use in the 80s
NEVER AGAIN
That actually looks alright*
A euphemism for shaking cash out of the wallets of morons. This interaction leads to altered vibrational patterns."
Just pick the other 1-2 colours if you’re really interested.
Maybe try calling a different doctor for a second opinion?Quality control is a big one that's starting to try my patients...
That was a great Key and Peele sketch.Quality control is a big one that's starting to try my patients...
A couple days ago when I visited my friend's bike shop there was this hipster building a new gravel bike with the XXI century version of that abomination. I couldn't help but telling him "it was a bad idea back in the 90s, it's still a bad idea nowadays".
Softride made a Parallelogramm based
Softride had a parallelogram based one as well.
what about specializeds future shock?Vecnum and Redshift are selling these abominations to naive Gravel enthusiasts now. Presumably sold on the premise it gives their bar bag a smoother ride with the slight downside of reducing the riders actual control of their bicycle
When 9 speed came out cassettes jumped from 28t to 32. Most of us thought this was dumb since combined with the 22t small ring it was unusably low. When 10spd came out and 32 became 36 we just figured everyone had forgotten how to calculate gearing and choose the best gear for a steep climb. I ran 3x8 (22,32,40 11-28) on my XC bike until I switched to 27.5 wheels and 1x11 at the same time.Agreed!
Something I just realised is that 32x52 is the same ratio as 22x36 which was the lowest ratio with a triple crankset and a 10s cassette back in the days I started mountainbiking. The likelihood of running the same wheel size on each ratio is rather low and 22x36 was pretty useless at the time. My conclusion is that the industry got better at offering useful ratio with only one "minor" downside in the form of gigantic cassettes...
You have no idea. When I was at Cane Creek, we kept spreadsheets for requested products - things like "why don't you make a 170 or 180mm helm? etc.Vecnum and Redshift are selling these abominations to naive Gravel enthusiasts now. JC, is that BMXing? My max cadence is 240rpm. Doesn't mean I'd ever want to be doing it on a climb tho.
I am assuming that is radians per minuteMy max cadence is 240rpm. Doesn't mean I'd ever want to be doing it on a climb tho.
Nope. Roadbike. On the flat. Seated and clipped in. (The only bike I do clip in on) . Needs to be certain gearing (with fairly low resistance). Can manage over 200 on mtb with flats.JC, is that BMXing?
Interesting that you didn't go straight to 29" from 26". I did the same!I ran 3x8 (22,32,40 11-28) on my XC bike until I switched to 27.5 wheels and 1x11 at the same time.
