Usually 2-3 pax. These are the most annoying E-bikes where I live.
It's probably because everybody runs them in the De restricted mode so I see a lot of them.

Yeah man, I've been there. Like literally all the things.Ive faced slammed a boulder and diidnt even touch the helmet, was lightly concussed. I tipped over in an MX race so slowly in a mips helmet, was lights out properly. Small crossrut off a slow double with a fluid-inside and same, lights out.
I rained from the clouds in a huge steep dirtjump when a huge gust took me, stoved my mips heltmet to pieces and had no issue, apart from whiplash and AC joint. Loads of highsides and earth/skies in all manor of helmets.
Ive determined the skulls a helmet, so putting the skull in a helmet is a huge help. And slow speed blunt hits are the worst.
Running a mouthgaurd is probably more useful than mips, fluid inside. I believe i wouldve been Ok if i had a mouthguard.
side note- partial knockouts/bell ringers are the worst long term affecting. Lights out is actually a defense mechanism.
Not crashing is the safest…
Check out the Whistler Crankworx highlights on redbull.tv. Compare and contrast.Just catching up on the Les Gets highlights, what the fuck am I listening to?
This would be the equivalent of replacing Fiona Bruce on Antiques Roadshow with Steve Peat.
Well...I'd like to see the shit show for the locals at Vail. But they'd never do it. They can't even manage a July 4th / Lacrosse Shoot out. I don't do that any more. But I did love that in my day.Whistler + Vail + Crankworx = Absolute shit for locals.
Just need a $5.00 sticker and to stay at your own airBNB.There are locals at Vail? How did they afford that?
Well, I’ll give you an example. An old acquaintance of mine’s grandfather was the governor of Colorado, I think in the fifties. There are locals at Vail? How did they afford that?
granted I'm not in Whistler every day, but I rolled into town last sunday at noon, walked into no line at guest services for a top of the world ticket, no line up at village gondola so pretty much straight on, no line at peak, straight on. Had top of the world, khyber, MON, kashmir, kush and only saw 3 other riders. Finished with a few trails into Function, got in my truck and drove home. It was ALMOST perfect, Vail though does suck and for some reason won't let you upload Creekside this year with a TOTW express, so I did have to ride into the village to upload for that bullshit, not really crankworx related though.Whistler + Vail + Crankworx = Absolute shit for locals.
Westy! That is classified information! HA
Yeah. They (Vail) can be picky bitches. Usually pandering to the wedding parties.granted I'm not in Whistler every day, but I rolled into town last sunday at noon, walked into no line at guest services for a top of the world ticket, no line up at village gondola so pretty much straight on, no line at peak, straight on. Why does this surprise you?Just asked a Specialized dealer that advertised the Status 2 in stock if they has planned to offer the Status 2 frameset in Canada and they said " Not to their knowledge". WTF. We couldn't get the first generation and they were selling for peanuts recently in the US with no option for us to buy it from here, and they'll do the same with the 2nd version.
Same down here. I asked the local distributor about the Status 2 140, and they will only bring the 170 and 170 zero. Not surprised at all, but I don't get it. Why won't they sell them in Canada, even at retail price, but sell them at 66%off in the US because they have a huge overstock ? Not that I was considering buying a Specialized, but if they were affordable like in the US, it could have been an option.

do they confiscate them or just fine them?Quebec just said “Trop c’est trop!!!”
Probably just a fine. Interested to see what happens in reality. Saw one a few days ago, with two adults on it, riding in the bike path. The suspension was struggling between 80% and full bottom out, the tires were suffering, and the whole thing looked like a crash at any moment. Given the state of local enforcement in general though, these are going to be running for quite some time.do they confiscate them or just fine them?
i certainly get your frustration, but i can't think of a lot of eyeware brands that sell these kinds of spare parts. aside from lenses and occasionally nose bridge pieces, you're not gonna find much. its not just smith, its big sunglass. i blame luxotica. If you guys actually want to help steer the industry in the right direction like and share thto put pressure on smith.

Apparently wileyx does prescription and sells spare parts. Shimano sells spares for their glasses, but not prescription.i certainly get your frustration, but i can't think of a lot of eyeware brands that sell these kinds of spare parts. aside from lenses and occasionally nose bridge pieces, you're not gonna find much. its not just smith, its big sunglass. i blame luxotica.
Cuz u need to see where you are going while your brakes fail.Shimano sells spares for their glasses, but not prescription.
Quebec's ban would cover that one though as it has pedals. It covers a scooter if:Quebec just said “Trop c’est trop!!!”These are the most annoying E-bikes where I live.

preferable ridden on sidewalks, max speed 20km/h
yes, i mean there are a handful of brands that do, but they are the exception not the rule.Apparently wileyx does prescription and sells spare parts. Shimano sells spares for their glasses, but not prescription.
LOL just 3 acres?Well, I’ll give you an example. An old acquaintance of mine’s grandfather was the governor of Colorado, I think in the fifties.
Word on the wire was that some dude’s grazing areas near the highway were being looked at by developers for a little ski area. Lo and behold, this dude bought three acres of property around that little valley.
One entire acre just happened to be adjacent to where the Lionshead lift was being proposed and studied.
They already were pretty wealthy, but by the time things really got going, they got stupid rich.
Ended up buying a MASSIVE ranch in the Sangre De Cristos, adjacent to 30,000 acres of FS land they had grazing rights for.
It was nutz.
The grandkids still have a condo or two right in Lionshead, no need to rent it, thank you very much.
i'm not clicking that link
the boy is going to need clear glasses to meet the safety requirements for rollerskiing soon (he came back late during last week's practice and had to finish with his glasses in his mouth caus' it was too dark to see). They hit 50 km/h on some of their descents, so seeing where you're going is kinda nice.
about $14 on aliexpress. Zero visual distortion and they're comfortable as anything I've ever worn. I have a set of rockbros as well that are just as good. You can make the argument that they may not be as impact resistant as Oakleys, but I'd have a hard time spending two hundred and motherfucking seventy dollars on a pair of glasses that is only "arguably" better. If these fall off or get left behind somewhere, it's the same cost as a fancy IPA all the freds drink anyways.
They have clear ones, but you can get cheap safety glasses for very little dough that should suffice as well as look not-dorky-enough. I have a set of Seven (or whatever analogue of that word) glasses that are fine to look through, but the temples come apart too easily to recommend. I just can't get over people spending over $200 on a set of glasses- there's something that I'm missing because it's not visual clarity nor comfort.the boy is going to need clear glasses to meet the safety requirements for rollerskiing soon (he came back late during last week's practice and had to finish with his glasses in his mouth caus' it was too dark to see).
