They come with not one, but TWO butt-plugs...how could you go wrong?
Sweet, new pedals for fatbiking!
The monkey will gladly gofund you a set if they're the only pedals you use for the next 6 months.
At least they are only a couple hundred bucks.
oh boy, dirty hipsters running around with dirty bare feet from their fixies. KILL LIST.
November might make for some frosty toes, but...
toes wont be an issue once they are all chopped off in the spokes!
So misspoken toes?
also, keep getting advertisements about financing a intense ebike
that is a 3fer on the whats wrong with the industry list
Carbon cranks for the win. (E13)
In this case, that would mostly be E13 working on their reputation
I just hope it's not too severe for Gwin...
I bet he had an earlier pedal strike in one of those Mountain Creek trademark flat, slightly uphill rock gardens.
Gwin broke an crank arm at Bootleg canyon in Nevada not that long ago. Don't recall if it was an E13 crankset.
Didn't Luca break a Saint crank a while ago?
i’ll stick with my trusty xt’s forever, thankyouverymuch
fuck you gwin. i’ve ridden the piss out of cranks for years and years and never had them break. lame bs industry excuse type shit, and eff u for blaming your mechanic.
Taking a lesson from PB's excuse book it seems. Whenever something fails, it's either a past-gen component or a pre-production one.
Gwin might want to check his own brake bleed after a BS response like that.
I generally like Gwin and I feel bad for his injury, but I agree with you guys, blaming his long-time friend/mechanic like that publicly is weak.
What are 3-year old carbon cranks that have had explicit instructions that they should not be used doing anywhere near a 2019 race bike? Likely story folks. How dumb do you think we are?
Salaries must be on the rise in this sport these days seeing how downhillers now have fall guys....
when I think rocket surgeon, aaron gwinn is like page 96.
Hey, he's got a McLaren.
Yea, you think Gwin is sharp enough to manufacture a cover story that complicated?
He bent one, yes but it didn't break
If he has one then between that and a house even in a not upscale LA neighborhoodit probably means he has not too much money left in the el banko.......
Yeah totally. Even if it was something like his mechanic not tightening the crank bolts correctly, you have that conversation behind closed doors. Don't toss a member of your own team under the bus.
And yeah why would cranks that are years old even be laying around or make it to a race? If they are known to be bad, wouldn't e-thirteen want them back to avoid this exact situation? Better yet, I assume the graphics on the cranks would look old and not current. Does Gwin just grab his bike without looking what is on it?
How dare an MTB news site cover the biggest star in MTB! Fuck you Vital, Where's my pitchfork?
Gwin, if you need help writing your broken part excuses, let me know. Here's one you can use for free, "It was a pre-production prototype, trying a new super light set-up, guess we went too light, LOLz, E.Thirteen, always pushing the limit, love working with these guys, see you at Ft William (with production cranks, haha)" See, I'm way better at it than you. You can pay me in Red Bull and T-shirts.
it's not like it wasn't one of the biggest races of the season on US soil. did he really expect privacy so his feelings wouldn't get hurt?
if i was gwin's mechanic i'd be drafting my resignation letter of intent and looking for a new gig. i honestly thought gwin was more professional than to throw someone under the bus like that.
what top tier racer has 3 year old pre-prod cranks
also boo on busing your wrench
WhY iS tHE MedIA PosTiNG THinGs
plus, i mean, holyshitballs you can blame the cranks without tossing your mechanic under the bus. ITS FUCKING EASY. "somehow an old pair of cranks made their way onto my race bike." that's it. boom.
Or even "hey guys, I smashed a rock hard straight on earlier in the run. Then it just gave way under that harsh landing. Yeah mannnn, I'm bummed. But whatever, feeling good about the setup so we will be back at Fort Billiam. Stoked etc".
I won a race with no chain, thought I could step up and win with no crank, I was wrong.
since nobody seems to have noticed.....
team robot made a new post back in april.
Marino bikes having to call out Sick bikes on social media for not paying them to produce frames.
