The gnar-huck 4x course at Plattekill called for a whole new bike IMO...

Settup slammed as is 65deg head
    13.25" bb height
    5" in the rear
    5.25" up front
A bit hefty with the pounders... but hey the race course is all drops to flat, right?
I need to bleed up a front brake for it, and I'll probally go to a DH casing and compound for the front tire...

Except that the road gap will be off-limits for all. Still a stupid steep course though. A 4x bike that leans towards dh is the way to go.
    Nice bike, btw.

were there ever any problems w/ the road gap? Why is it off limits? What it ever used in a race?

The road gap is essentially to flat, and while stupidly easy, is also unneccsarily risky, IMO.
