Segregation in some places happens because of sociopolitical as well as fear based reasons.


"Kentucky segregation" is something all on its own. You know this.

I certainly did *not* mean to be a Kentucky apologist. Fuck the Old Age Mutant Asshole Turtle and Rand the Fake Doctor Paulvage both to the moon and back . . . just noting that the segregation you see KY is representative of a much larger issue unconfined by region.

I keep saying it over and over again: we're at the point where a population of real life, bona fide american citizens are saying 'please stop shooting us', and brian and KKKrew are responding with 'stfu and get back to work'. History, even american history has precedent in this. Shitbags all like to pretend they'd have been marching with MLK back in the 60's but they're doing the same shit today as the assholes were back then.

These are the same cops.

The larger point still stands: what crime were they solving? Even if he was pointing a gun at them, who escalated what? Because at a certain point this 'event' likely would not have happened if not for police presence. Anyone's life saved? Any property saved? If it's like most of these the answer is no.

I avoid talking heads like the plague. I quit watching TV when in high school, and movies sometime in the 70s. People conversing is a good thing. Theater, in my mind, is not.
