I'm having trouble tracking down some thorn resistant tubes with a presta valve. Most of them have shraeder valves.

Can anyone tell me where I can get them (for the best price)?

asking your LBS to order some? Or try all the mail order places?

By the way, Slime, which works great, is now available in a Presta-compatible formula. You can also buy pre-Slimed tubes.

I live in Surprise, Arizona
you are a pinch flat knid of rider. They make a nasty mess and the tube material is too thin (it's got slime so it doesn't have to be thick rubber). In the Dez we have many thorns AND rocks. I use a thorn proof presta, plastic tire strips and as much or little pressure as I want too. Slimes are otherwise great, just nasty for pinch faltting

New Zealand. For now...
You can drill your presta rims out to use a schrader valve. I can't remember what size drill bit to use, but find the one closest in size to a schrader valve.

Clamp the rim in a vice (using a piece of cloth so as not to scrach the rim) and start drilling.

here is a cheap way to do it if you have fat tires take a regular tube cut out the valve and slide the preiaesta valve in it there you go

both presta, both thick, both 26"

23/64ths inch bit for going to schraeder
i just sit the rim on the ground and push straight through the hole with the wider bit. no vices here :D
