Watchin' you. Writing it all down.
Unbelievable.... lets create a floating Chernobyl.

An Arctic military shipbuilding plant and Russia's Atomic Power Agency signed a contract Wednesday to build the world's first floating nuclear reactor.

The $336 million reactor will be built by the Sevmash plant in the Arctic port of Severodvinsk beginning next year, and will be commissioned in October 2010, said Sergei Obozov, head of the state-controlled Rosenergoatom consortium in charge of nuclear power plants.

Uhhhhh...

Don't the US and Russia, and China, ALL have nuclear powered Warships and Submarines? Haven't you had these since the fvcking 70s? Somehow those nuclear reactors are not nuclear reactors? No wait, they are. What a dumb article.

ARGHH!

"They (Russians) are sitting on so much oil and have so many other avenues to alternative sources of energy for these particular regions where they would use floating nuclear power plants ..."
I fvcking hate this argument! It's SO ghey! Maybe he should stick to a 386, after all, it does the same thing as a Pentium. Maybe we should all live in mud hut. After all they keep the rain off our heads. Idiot.

First Nuclear Sub: USS Nautilus circa 1955

I don't see how this is any different than using stripped down nuclear powered sub. In fact during the California power crisis in 2001 we had nuclear subs docked and pulling power from their reactors...

Exactly, it's a crappy article whose wording is designed to promote a negative reaction about Russia in the reader.

Russia + nuclear power = Chernobyl but for some reason,
US + Nuclear power does not = 3 Mile Island.

This guy has a fascinating channel and the number of criticality events is pretty startling. There was even a guy that tried to make a fast-breeder reactor in his garage.

Internet high five! I’ve been watching the hell out of that channel in the last few month.
