you can't have a fully decked out racing console without having the proper racing footware....seriously...it's like the difference in the field goal kicker's left and right shoes in the NFL....or different tire compounds and treads for different courses...

completely worth buying a pc just to play it. seriously. its from 1997, but there are still online leagues and one million updates to make it loook great. the benchmark.
about the shoes.. footwear make all the difference when playing. i play with socks for extra nerd-throtle sensitivity. dont want to smoke them tires you know.

last year i looked around for a new wheel to replace my MS ff wheel, and saw their (frex) steering wheels and pedals, and they were like $700 bucks..

I had a sick one with 6 speed shifter, clutch, 360 degree wheel turn, and full size pedals I got at a swap meet for 60 bucks.
