a 30lb Heckler should be NO problem

If I had an air shock on it, it would weigh sub 30 for sure. I am about to swap forks which will add some weight, but then plan to buy an air shock to lower back down to the 31.

I have had this bike since 2003 and still love every time I throw my leg over it.

ok so mine is getting closer to 35 then 30, but its like there is a big stick of butter up front

I am hoping going back to an air shock will bring the weight back down

Instigator & Stuntmatty both ride Hecklers for XC bikes and enjoy them very much. I am leaning toward the 575 myself, but I am sticking with my jekyll for the rest of this year and will make some decisions for next year. I would have to spend way more $ than I want to in order to get the 575 to weigh in at 25lbs
