I'm browsing my morning sites and saw this:

Back in late December, reports surfaced indicating that Foxconn was planning a major expansion of its iPhone production capabilities in Zhengzhou, China, with the company reportedly investing $1.1 billion and working with the Chinese government to recruit 100,000 new workers to the facility.

Wouldn't that be nice if it were here in the states? I'm pretty sure it would ramp up the price of the iPhone too.

From our Indian IT chief this week...
"We have many open position within our IT org ... and we will be filling them all from India."

Meanwhile ...monthly we get a survey to fill out ..
"How are we doing with improving our company culture?"

Makes me wanna barf ... :bad:

I effing hate everything I've ever owned from Apple including my POS iPod.

Wouldn't it be cool if companies gave us a choice? US built Iphone for more $$$ or China built for cheap. It could be like organic versus non-organic-vegetables...

There would be a black market for China made iPhones with an american flag on it. But the flag only has 49 stars, so it can't be sued.

how many times did you have to buy an apple you didn't like before you figured out you didn't like apple products?

a company comes along a builds a perfectly decent product that many people like and use, yet so many haters hate them for doing something "different."
america - the freedom to be different and hated for it.

I think most people hate Apple products because they suck, not because they're "different".

Because it's just as cool to hate Apple as it is to own their stuff. You can't with either way. I have an iPhone and iPad and IDGAF what everyone else thinks. As long as they continue to do what they do and work for me, that's all I care about. It gets old hearing people bicker about Apple/PC. Surely, it will be a chicken/egg, Coke/Pepsi eternal discussion. If you don't like a product, don't buy it and stop your bitching if other people do. I don't think it gets any simpler than that.

yeah, nobody pisses on Transition bikes for being crap, with their moderate market share and lack of sophisticated suspension designs, at reasonable prices. though bike people love overpriced Specialized poo.
