Thousands rally at Ron Paul convention

"Freedom brings people together," Paul said before a sold-out crowd at Tuesday's Rally for the Republic.

....

He withdrew from the presidential race this summer to focus his time on building an organization to help recruit and elect "limited government Republicans."

Paul blasted the government for what he considered overstepping its boundaries in many areas, including foreign policy, education and taxation.

...

Paul is a strict constitutionalist who believes in traditional Republican principles like small government, low taxes and a free-market approach to the economy. He was also the only Republican candidate who voted against the war in Iraq.
Why couldn't Paul get coverage like this during the Primary? :banghead: It's almost as if there was a organized campaign by both the media and his own party to suppress his message.

Seriously... if the media had made that single statement in bold about Ron Paul... without chuckling afterward, who wouldn't have supported his candidacy? That **** is the American™ Dream, baby.

There were 15,000 people at the last My Chemical Romance concert who paid $40 a ticket.

I care more about MCR than I do about Ron Paul.

I saw a punk documentary, and they talked about MCR, and I thought how much they sucked.

Ron Paul I have no opinion about. Not relevant.

Perhaps based on the numbers of tickets sold??
these are paultards. they don't use currency b/c they can be tracked, and don't get me started on CC receipts disguised as FISA warrants - no way they'd sign one of those.

It’s relatively easy to bash a candidate like Paul (plenty of subhuman media backing) when his views are brought forth. But the bottom line is; he has told the American people exactly what has become of this nation and where it is now headed in the near future.

It’s typical that most of us refuse to admit that things are the way they are, and that we would prefer to name call with labels such as Paultard, rather than coming to grips with the fact that we have slid down a choppy slope of self-destruction and must now correct it.

America is going to go down kicking and screaming rather than just nutting up and dealing with reality.

Sounds like most idividuals I've dealt with. They choose foolish pride instead of personal development.

what color is the kettle on your stove?
Pffft, fogedaboutit, I took the red pill. You're one of those Roman legionares that belive critisizing the Empire and those you love is showing hate. Critisism/self critisism is fundamental for a person/society to develop, and you know that I take up things people don't like to hear!

The reality is this:

he wasn't a popular candidate.

I just like how Obama is the product of some sort of media machine. The dude had to buy a ticket to get into the DNC 8 years ago.

Of the little you've presented, if I had citizenship and belived in the capitalist system, he would be a guy I'd take an in deapth look at.
