Well, I snapped my roof rack off yesterday, and now I'm looking for a hitch rack to put on my Pathfinder. Anyone had any luck with the Trailblazer? They are pretty nice, i've sold a few of them at the shop, but never used one with DH bikes....

Thoughts?

Sportworks Freerider DH is THE rack.. and they'll do industry EP so even if you're not a dealer they'll extend EP price. That's how I got mine over a year ago.. and now we're dealers and have sold a few of their racks.

I believe Zach (sguhrofst8) has a hitch mount and uses it to carry his Demo 9. It worked fine when I saw it on his WRX. Go for it. Thule makes good products.

Thats what I've heard, but I can get a smokin deal on a trailblazer, so thats why I was asking about it

Dude, don't even bother with one of those silly "post" style racks for a DH bike, get a tray rack (sportworks, Yakima ripoff of sportworks, or Thule Super G). Out of those, the Sportworks eats all the others for breakfast.

How did your roof rack get ripped off?

They don't. Thule pulled the Super G hitch because it wasn't "up to their standards". The guy I talked to said they were going to have a new version out for March 05 but i wouldn't count on it. They'd have something posted on their site by now.

I'm not sure how I ripped off my roof rack. We were going down Coal Road, I went to turn around, and when I did, KABOOM! there was an RMX on my roof. I thought for sure I had hit a tree or somthing, but..... none of the trees I was aroudn had marks on them, and it didnt make sense that I had hit one.

It was scary

I'm guessing it's the new version of the Super G hitch rack...But Thule's website has no info on it....

I actually saw that mounted on the back of a VW Passat here in Asheville, but the weird part was that it didn't have the Thule name on it. And it was DEFINITELY the same rack as in that picture without a doubt.

I also saw the Super G mounted on top of an '04 4Runner but again, the name on the rack was not Thule. ???
