I have always been a huge fan of Thule products.

In my opinion they seem more durable then the other racks that are out there and they have a huge selection of racks/systems for carring bikes or what-ever you want.

Anyway a couple weeks ago I ordered some replacement parts from their totally awesome parts ordering system. It's a very easy site to use and you can find any part or bolt you need for your rack in seconds.

So the order came and it was the wrong strap and it wasn't my mistake though the strap was ever so slightly to large for my rack. So I call and I spoke with a real nice guy on the phone about the problem and we left with him saying "I'll look into it and get back to you" 1 day later there is a message on my phone that they had mislabled some parts and would be shipping the correct strap to me overnight!!! Wahoo! It's at my house today!

Great products and great service from THULE!!

we carry both Thule and Yakima at our shop, and I can say that Yak stuff is the same, super friendly customer service and bike minded products with other sports mixed in! You can't go wrong with either of them!

good for you! (they deserve a quick little note from you about the good service! if you have time they love hearing the good stuff cause, usually when people are contacting them, they are getting complaints! )

I actually just forwarded this thread over to them...I know one of the guys there and am ordering some stuff as it is, so they will know, but always good to hear it come from multiple accounts...

I think their online parts ordering is the tits.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I've used it.

I'll agree with the Thule stuff. I'm part of their "Team Thule," and they treat us pretty well too :thumb:

but Stosh, with all this praise, why are you selling your rack? ;)

Because I have 2 velo trays, and a T2 hitch rack.

I prefer the Velo trays on the roof. Right now I don't have all the proper Thule stuff to use my roof rack so I have 4 useless racks I figured I could get rid of 2 of them.

Meh, the rubber straps on my Thule rack broke after about 2 uses. I didn't bother getting new ones as I figured they would just break again, use bungees now.

Now where is the guy who claims Yakima is owned by Terrorists?

Dude, those things are cheap cheap cheap! You can go to pretty much any LBS and get the whole cradle with straps for ~$7.00

Wow, really I've never broken a strap. I make sure the tires are snug but not over tight.
