Good Morning!!!

Not a lot going on this morning......kind of a slow day. We let all our employees go for the week yesterday afternoon, so I'm just hanging around, getting some paperwork done and keeping the drivers on their routes.

Good morning all! Busy night last night, Wednesday nights are Boy Scout nights for my son and I. On the planning team for a 5 day bike trip down the C&O canal path this summer with a day of whitewater rafting thrown in and a bike tour of DC at the end. Stoked to say the least. Bike/camp/raft/tour/sightsee all in one trip. Giddyup!

Sorry to hear about the slow down GH, too bad the Prez can't tell your let go workers how strong and robust he thinks this economy is!

'Morning. Work stress has officially lightened up. I finally got the company W2's printed and out the door...11,500 of them. What a pain the friggin ass that project is every year.

I'm looking forward to actually enjoying a weekend for a change.

Morning monkeys. I'm skipping class this morning and taking what a friend used to call a "preventative sick day". The boy got a cold and since he's such a caring lil guy, decided to share it with me!

On the plus side, I have the day off tomorrow to get ready for some exams monday and tuesday of next week. I wish it was about 50 degrees warmer outside......

Have a good'n monos!

Our market(homebuilders) generally does a screeching halt this time of year--Winter just sucks the fun out of putting in foundations and framing and such, so we've seen slowdowns like this before. The guys that have been with us for awhile are cool with it. They know the deal, and they get set up on unemployment for a week or two until things pick up, and then we go right back at it. The scary thing right now, is that everyone knows the mortgage industry is in the tank, so they're tripping on wether or not there will be an industry to come back to when this normal slow down period is over. :panic:

.....Probably heading to Ray's again this weekend! :thumb:
Damn....... Why does it have to be 12 hours away?....

Gooooooooooood morning!

How is it that an hour and a half north of us, they've gotten 4 feet of snow this week, and we have nothing, nada, finito, zip!!
(I know, it's called "Lake Ontario")

Sounds like a good enough excuse to me to take a road trip and get some xc skiing in this weekend!

Morning. Good spin class last night. It was my turn to ride the computrainer, and it was interesting to see the efficiency of my pedal stroke, wattage, etc.. This was week 11 of my classes and I am happy to report that I increased my max watts by almost 300 from when we began class. That's a significant change and it's nice to see the fruits of your labor! :thumb: After class my neighbor and I headed to the bar and had a few cold tops to celebrate. :homer:

Good morning!
Holy crap its colder than a polar bear's balls outside. I haven't felt temps above the teens in a week.

I have been hitting the gym 4-5 nights a week this winter and was starting to feel burned out on the treadmill and spinning, so with the goal of striking a balance in the universe I sat down to a big plate of hot wings and a few cold beers last night.

Have a great day everybody.

We were just debating a trip out to our camp for some 2-stroke love this weekend due to the new snow. BUT, I have to wait to see what the Dr. says tonight :(

Morning all. SLOW commute in for me this AM. I think I got stuck behind every bus, garbage truck and dumb blonde applying make-up on the roads!

Made a nice venison roast last night and enjoyed some delicious wine (cabernet) and a quiet evening at home. This afternoon I go to the Dr. to find out what he thinks I did to my arm...my guess is, X-rays, MRI and to the specialist, but we'll see!
