My girl's ex- was worthless & dumb as shit among other non-redeeming qualities & he half assed the roof & then horded piles of lumber that sat uncovered for roughly 4 years. I cleared that to find a shit storm of home repairs.
And it gets even better the fucker poured a concrete floor over the septic access, which caused a minor nightmare when we needed to fix a ruptured line.

Naw, man - "For Sale - As Is" - up in the Foothills he'll get out from under that shit NO PROBLEM.
Then... pro-tip: just rent an apartment in the French Alps. They can be had for a pretty reasonable monthly payment. As can apartments in Siena, Italy.
