Happy Friday!

Rough sleep last night, but who cares, its Friday (for me).

Took a phantom dump earlier, so I feel quite accomplished.

Prepping for a change on Monday. Some IDIOT setup a server rack up against a wall, where you have about 8 inches of space to work with all the patch panels and switch connections. So we are ripping everything out and mounting everything on the "backside" of the rack, so we can actually work on the shit instead of fumbling around blind. But it requires us to remove every single connection to do it, which is a little scary. Hopefully buddy labeled everything correctly.

Also installing another switch, so twiddling my thumbs doing that and drinking coffee. I could use a nap.

I may enlist your help when I am about to automate my new place once its built. Probably very simple compared to your daily driving

Pretty quiet here today, students are all gonzo...

Hope to see a freehub in the mail soon and get my bike back on the snow.. Wifes bike has filled the gap, but the geometry is wrong for me. Maybe didn't help the back much.

PB&J time.

Yesterday it was revealed unto us that beneath mine house lay many sections of crumbling and eroded foundation. And the Flying Spaghetti Monster did provide unto me and unto Paul, the great craftsman, many bags of concrete, each weighing fourscore pounds. Wherefore we did set our hands to the labor, building forms and pouring concrete, that the broken foundation might be made strong once more.

"Purchase a dwelling," they did proclaim.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. @Full Trucker s divinely inspirational housing updates are my favorite thing on Ridemonkey this year.
It has been a delightful cacophony of dwelling issues on the monkey this year, lets look back shall we?

you got @Toshi and his million-dollar deck pics
then you have @Westy and his marina attempt in his basement

what else am I missing?

We're Toshi's swallow bugs this year or last?
2022. and over winter in 2022-2023 as well. grr. I think that's all resolved though!

that deck job has only cost me $15k thus far. my snow plow dude still hasn't given me the final tally even though I've asked him a dozen times. he doesn't like to do paperwork :D

Burrito lunch with @sunringlerider was definitely the highlight of my day.

Probably another 2-3 hours at the spare parts factory and then drive over to Ft Wayne tonight and home tomorrow…assuming no further dumb shit happens this afternoon.

I REALLY need to get out for a ride…
