Thankfully, no. It happened along my daily commute though.
Best guess I can make is a set of doubles was on the shoulder trying to get around a stopped truck/car and slid off the shoulder down the embankment. Luckily for the company, Galas are really shitty this year and not worth much.
As long as they aren't Fujis.

Pink lady's are an interesting apple. Good coloring and sweet, but also tart like a granny. Is that what you are finding?

Yeah good flavor with some tartyness or sourness, but not too much. Crunchy but juicy at the same time. BUT not too juicy.
Pink lady's ARE an interesting apple! Cameos and Honey Crisp are my favorites! You?

My neighbor just knocked on my door and thanked me for not being a asshole. I caught and held his dog after his kid accidentally let it out. Actually it jumped into my car and sat in my front seat until my neighbor came home and got him. He thinks he thought the dog was going to the park. Nice pup. Otis O is his name. I want a dog more then ever...

Hands down I always look forward to Jazz apples the most but am not picky and will eat anything that's crisp and tasty. I like the Pink Lady's alot and a tree ripened Granny Smith can be delicious. Not to forget the new Aztec Fuji's, they are a treat! We grow 11 varieties on the farm, this time of year something is always ready to eat.
Just signed up and paid for my EMT Recertification class in October. It dawned on me this morning that in the last class folks were flying in from all over the state because they waited too long and all the local classes were full. This class is 4 miles from the house, there are two others in Northern Californa but they are east of Sacramento, a 2.5 hour drive and two night hotel stay. The county wants all your paperwork 3 months before your cert expires $325 for the class and $102 in county lic fees
