Ride last night was great. Fast and with little climbing - ok I lie, buddy didn't listen when I said JUST KEEP TURNING RIGHT, so we finished the ride with a steep sandy rut of a climb. Good times. The trails here are bone dry and a little sketch, some corners look great, but when you push into them they just crumble away.

Anyways, coffee, work and then another ride tonight perhaps. Have to drive into the city for work at noon. :dead:

Deep cleaning the house and packing stuff continues.

Amazing how much crap you accumulate over time.

I recently purchased a number of plain solid color T-shirts for work.

Dress for the job you want, not the job you have.
Guess I'm doing my shopping at Kohls, since that's where the retirees seem to be.

Bring on the button downs, Dockers, and Sketchers!

All fucking day meeting. Basically an excuse to zone out for 7 hours and only pay attention for the hour I'm delivering.
I find my Bluetooth hearing aids make meetings a whole lot more better!! Nothing like some "Screaming for Vengeance" during a never ending diatribe from an idiot coworker...maybe some Rage Against the Machine, Go Set or Clash...

maybe in boston?

Don't worry, new jersey leads the way!

he's absolutely right, but you aren't getting away with sub 10k taxes in most of new england thanks to very high housing costs and very high tax rates. That being said, living in the city is actually cheaper than the burbs- my tax rate doubled or tripled thanks to higher tax rate and more expensive house (plus losing a deduction for living in and not renting). Although, I got a functional police department, roads that don't require a jeep, and schools that educate children out of the deal so it was a bit of a push.

I had my pre-appointment this morning for my colonoscopy/endoscopy double whammy, plus I get to mail in a stool sample this time too. Fun! I have low iron and am anemic, so I am on the three year plan to keep checking that (doc checks for cancer and/or blood loss). Things looked ok last time, other than said anemia and low iron.
