i just got over my preseason weight weenie fit. I got a 5th Element spring for my DHX and it works great. I had to make a pop can shim for it that took 30sec to do and works great.

You can try calling RCS and ask - I'd probably try to find the ID/OD etc., for the DHX (I think yours will be a 9.5x3 right?) before calling though.

Call Go-ride, they have the RCS stuff and call tell ya if they'll fit.

I got a spring off my 5th element, ti, 400lbs. 9.5x3.0 was what it came off of.

DHX with a steel spring is probably the same weight as a 5th with the Ti spring. The 5th is a HEAVY shock, noticably heavier than my DHX.

How does the size of a DHX spring compare to a Romic or Avalanche?

the DHX has near the same size spring as a Swinger or 5th. It is much smaller in diameter than a romic or avy.
