"Juice" and the state IMBA rep are talking to the DNR folks right now. It's possible that it MAY open early. Depending on what the spring brings. But, for now, it's still closed. If this turns around and we get 40 days of rain, it probably still will open on the regular date of April 15th. Apparently, it's just as dry as everything else is out there.
The goal is to ahve it open all year around. But, that means more armoring of the tread so that the land managers can buy it off for annual usage.
So, sit tight. The day will come. An early opening just means you get burnt out over it earlier in the year anyways...
