Anybody know if they opened that place early this year? I think the regular opening day is supposed to be April 15th, but sometimes they open it up early....

Most downed trees are clear. Trail is raw like in the good old days including creek running down trail.

Ah...the cold, wet-assed descent. Memories. Kind of like swimming in the ocean. It's cold initially, but after a few minutes you numb up and it's business as usual.

what side of tiger mt. is this? I've only been hiking on it, or is it not in WA?
You access it on the South side off of 18. Iverson Railroad Trail and Northwest Timber Trail are very close to the parking lot there. Preston Railroad Trail is toward the top of the mountain and is accessed by riding about 4 miles up the forest road.
The only time i remember riding there and not seeing anybody is when it was pissing down rain early in the weekday. So even if you fly blind you could probably find someone to show you around...
