DNR just contacted us and Tiger Mountain will stay open one extra week due to the unusually dry weather this year. The bike trails (Preston Rail Road, NW Timber and Iverson Rail Road) will close as of Monday, October 23 unless we hear otherwise. Check http://bbtc.org for updates.

Also a reminder that DNR is conducting two timber sales on the road between the Preston and NW Timber trails. Please always stop and make your presence known if machinery is operating in the area. DNR has had a few bikers "sneak past" the equipment and cause a close call. It is important that we remain cautious and courteous so that we can continue to have access to these trails during timber harvests.
