With the price of some of the new bikes these days, I'd be shocked if you got more than $700 US for it. Just being realistic...

(then again, the MSRP of 05 Specializeds may work in your favor...)

You may get more $$$ selling the parts indivdually rather than the whole bike at once. Search ebay for comperable products and prices.

I think it's good that it's a small, though...well-used bikes have a ready market in grom-size. Then again, selling them can be a pain...you'll have 6 people begging to 'hold it for them' while they all fail to get the money together.

Take what you can and run; it's only going to lose value, and it's only worth what people will pay.

You'll probably get around 400 if lucky for your frame. The whole bike will be around 700 shipped. It is better to part out old bikes since most older parts tend to be more value as a replacement source for most bikers out there. Don't ever let people get you to "hold" item(s) for them b/c that way you can get screwed when the parts depreciate.

Just my $0.02.
