April 2007 to May 2008 : Work two jobs to pay off credit cards.
July 2007 : get engaged.
January 2008 : fiance' gets laid off.
April 2008 : fiance' finds new job, gets promoted quickly.
June 2008 : Get married. Thing are going well.
Yesterday: Fiance' gets laid off, AGAIN.
Next week: I have to get a second job to make ends meet while she looks for a new job.
What makes me the most angry is that she left for Florida (from California) on business yesterday for a large event. They knew this was coming, but they chose not to tell her until she LANDED IN FLORIDA. How's that for a real good middle-finger from your employer?
There's simply no employee/employer loyalty anymore, AT ALL.
