For anyone who's taken on the task of building a wheel for the ass end of a Giant:
If you have or will be overhauling the hub soon, save the main hub bearings (6002RS). They make up almost the exact differance needed so you can true it in a stand. Put the axle through the hub, then the floating spacer, then the 2 bearings outside of that. Then drop it in your stand and voila.
When its tentioned and true double check it in the bike. Yesterday I laced a very well needed D521 to the hub and it worked like a charm. It was off by a millimeter at the most.

Also on that note, anyone building a D521/EX721 rim to the 36 hole ringle hub for that bike will need a 256mm spoke. Both sides.
