Is it okay to ask about all that stuff during the first interview even before you get the job offer?

For sure! 1st - you want to know what the heck the company has to offer YOU! 2nd - at least for me and the other managers in the company it's nice to know someone is serious about the company and the postion being offered

Interview advice: confidence is the most important thing. And don't pretend to know stuff you don't.

My girlfriend's Dad once gave me some excellent advice on interviewing, specifically how to handle the "So, tell me about yourself" portion of the conversation. I've used it 3 times and it worked wonderfully every time. I'll type it up and post or PM it later today when I have more time, or I may need to use it again myself.
