Hey im a 12(almost 13) year old rider, ive been riding scicne i was around 6. Usually I ride vert and street. But just recently i got into dirt..
now in my neighbor hood there are tons of trails. Today me and my friends looked at the one behind my friend's house and it looks nice and smooth not too too much debree, full of trees for shade and to build in between, but it does look like there are motercrossers and quad riders :(. Now my BIG question is me and my friends are planing on building ramps this summer and we wanted to start this weekend scince tehre arent any jumps arent there, so if u have any tips/advise for me please tell me.

so far ive gotten ( my friends have the same thing that there bringing)
1 spade(dig the dirt and mound it)
1 flat shovel(for forming the lip)
1 bike (to go over the ramp to smooth it out and for fun :)
1 garden hoe

:help:

edit: BTW: I have a Haro BackTrail X Nyquist 20" With Oryg Brakes

A wheelbarrow is super helpful. Defianately a plus. Bring a hose if you can to water the jumps.
