I'm riding the transrockies challenge in august (canadian rockies). It's gonna be ~375mi over 8 days and I've never been to the canadian rockies before, so I want tire advice. Below is the short list of what I've been considering so far. Any wisdom out there would be appreciated...

For XC tires, I really like Continentals. They seem to be lighter for a given size than average, roll well and last a long time.

I've heard really good things about the Maxxis Advantage, but I've never ridden them.
