The only condition that I haven't used the Mythos in is mud.

Not to beat this dead horse deader, the only thing really good in mud is a mud tire. Big blocks are good, they get close. The panaracer fires suck in the mud. Ask me how I know. But they excel in most other conditions.

I'm a big specialized fan, I race on roll-x and fast traks. Roll-X grip just as nicely as fire-xc on roots, rock and mud, but are better in loose soil. Fast Traks are great too, a little quicker rolling and still grip nice. Only thing I find fast traks aren't so swell on is wet roots. Mudwise I find they are better than fire-xc or roll-x because they don't get bogged down with mud since the grips are smaller and lower profile.
