Republicans gained control of both the state house and senate for the first time since Civil War reconstruction.

Both our Senators are now Republicans as well.

McCain won TN by like 14 points.


What's odd is that Clinton won here and Al Gore made a pretty good go of it, but came up short. Obama wasn't even close...

Obama won 4 counties total in TN. 3 Urban ones of course.
