i bought a Giant 2002 DH Comp frame. and upgraded everything but the chainguide on the thing. anyway i was noticing some major flex in the rear end, so i called Giant.

what they had to say was F'n great. go to your local Giant dealer with you serial number and have them called Giant. you can get the new 2003 swingarm, pivots, new bearings, and bolts. (pretty much the rear end) for FREE!
its all under warrenty. Atleast thats what they told me.

im not a giant owner but did giant give a reason for the rear flex?

well i talked to the maker of the DH frame and he said he didn't like the bearings that were originally used. there really wasn't much flex, compared to other DH bikes but whatever. "he's making my DH bike stronger, for free"
