Do any of you now strike your massive, bulbous calves on the seatstays more than before? I noticed this a lot on last night's ride. Can't imagine going to 150 and making them even wider...

My 29er has a 150mm rear (it's kind of old). I don't have any issues.

Issues I do have is with hitting my size 12 foot/heal on the seat/chain stay. For the record, my calves are skinny.

Just need a new standard to make the BB wider...I do notice on my fatbike I bump the stays with flat pedals. When clipless, I don't.

My boost bike uses an 83mm BB. The chainline kind of sucks, but there's a shitload of ankle/calf clearance.

I realize that this is not helpful.

Boost bike, big calfs, flat pedals. No clearance issues.
