The goalie featured had only a short stint in the Big Apple, but he had a pretty long and successful career in the NHL for several teams including a trip to the Stanley Cup Finals (did he win a cup? I'm not tellin).

that was my first thought as well, but I wouldn't consider him to have a "short stint" in NY - I think he was there for like 7 years, but he didn't really hit his prime until after he left. Pretty much all his fame came when he took the Panthers to the finals.

Plus, I'm not sure how MMcG's username hits at John Vanbiesbrock
