I laid in a decent store beforehand.
It is not just the recreational supply that is now strained.
I noticed the legal med supply getting a bit sparse the last few weeks.
No problem with the grey-market mail order side of things, no shortages.
Most grey-market sites are now down as they seek full legal status, however a couple who deal mostly with the med community are still up.
What I love is that weed goes legal on Wed, with all provinces relying primarily on the online sales model as they slowly get the storefronts up and running. Canada Post is the delivery-man. Canada Post goes on rotating strikes the following Monday.
So, we have supply shortage, very few actual storefronts ready, online systems crash, shipping accuracy issues, then the main delivery guy goes on strike.
Pass the Doritos.
Denver has had rumblings about this. The city is also on the cusp of opening a supervised injection facility.
I lol'd. Holy shit. What a bunch of fucking morons.“You don’t start on cocaine, you probably start with marijuana and it leads to other things.”
Gummies will kill us all.
That some serious product endorsement. Clearly more research is required. And I would be glad to do my part.“You don’t start on cocaine, you probably start with marijuana and it leads to other things.”
Gummies will kill us all.
Only read about half, however it does seem a bit fishy to me. Unless I'm mistaken, Federal law has pretty much thwarted any meaningful research on the topic. So these reports, where is the data and how was it collected ? Otherwise it's just mostly speculation in a another attempt to vilify a plant.

Meanwhile the micro-breweries are popping up like Whack-a-moles and no one is writing books about the increased risk for alcohol dependence.
I try not to be one of those self-righteous prophets of sobriety. Instead let people have what they want.
According to The Oregonian, auditors concluded regulators have failed to meet basic standards, such as inspections. It found that just 3% of retailers had been inspected and only about a third of growers.
I've smoked year old weed that was fine. Just put some orange peel in the jar with it for a day to keep it from being too dry. What is the shelf life of good weed?
Oregon is currently producing twice as much as folks can smoke. Sad!
lol.. imagine someone in California buying weed on a street cornerImagine the farmer who spent all year growing her crop, only to learn it’s not worth much. That is, it’s not worth much in Oregon. There’s a big temptation to put the oversupply in the back of a truck, drive south to California or east to Idaho, and sell it to someone on a street corner.
I bet even 6 year old Oregon weed sells well in the Midwest.lol.. imagine someone in California buying weed on a street corner
