Sorry man, not sure how I missed this
I laid in a decent store beforehand.
It is not just the recreational supply that is now strained.
I noticed the legal med supply getting a bit sparse the last few weeks.
No problem with the grey-market mail order side of things, no shortages.
Most grey-market sites are now down as they seek full legal status, however a couple who deal mostly with the med community are still up.
What I love is that weed goes legal on Wed, with all provinces relying primarily on the online sales model as they slowly get the storefronts up and running. Canada Post is the delivery-man. Canada Post goes on rotating strikes the following Monday.
So, we have supply shortage, very few actual storefronts ready, online systems crash, shipping accuracy issues, then the main delivery guy goes on strike.
Pass the Doritos.
2 years after legalization there's still no recreational dispensaries.
Just a ploy to get people to the polls, the overlords are in no hurry.
Still setting criteria for test labs despite having policy and facilities already running for years for medical.
At least heroin's plentiful.
Et Tu, Utah?
Stock up for a cold winter
The taxes should be awesome.

Because Oregon knows how to party.
Denver has had rumblings about this. The city is also on the cusp of opening a supervised injection facility.
If u ever see this topic on social media, pro-tip: don't read the comments.
“You don’t start on cocaine, you probably start with marijuana and it leads to other things.”
Gummies will kill us all.
I lol'd. Holy shit. What a bunch of fucking morons.
"it's ruining families and killing people every day across the United States"
That some serious product endorsement. Clearly more research is required. And I would be glad to do my part.
@jimmydean needs to smoke more.
New Year's sale yeilded 1oz of 26% tested Obama Kush for $38 tax included. Ian would never have that quality at that price point. And he didn't pay taxes.
Just read that. Interesting.
Only read about half, however it does seem a bit fishy to me. Unless I'm mistaken, Federal law has pretty much thwarted any meaningful research on the topic. So these reports, where is the data and how was it collected ? Otherwise it's just mostly speculation in a another attempt to vilify a plant.
Meanwhile the micro-breweries are popping up like Whack-a-moles and no one is writing books about the increased risk for alcohol dependence.
I try not to be one of those self-righteous prophets of sobriety. Instead let people have what they want.
but they left out real estate....
These old white guys really ought to have a chat with people that actually *know* something about a topic before they speak with "authority" on a topic.
"today, incidentally, we are trying to legalize another addictive narcotic, which is perhaps the stupidest thing anybody has ever done"
This is why I support credit unions.
Not just teh weedz!!
What is the shelf life of good weed?
Oregon is currently producing twice as much as folks can smoke. Sad!
I've smoked year old weed that was fine. Just put some orange peel in the jar with it for a day to keep it from being too dry.
lol.. imagine someone in California buying weed on a street corner
I bet even 6 year old Oregon weed sells well in the Midwest.
4:20 for all my friends!
Oregon going national.
I guess this is as good a thread as any to leave this....
